Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing charity which aims to eliminate poverty-housing around the world. Striking off poverty is a huge task, and we need all the help we can get!

“Strike off poverty!” (ST.O.P.) is a project that came about from believing that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things when given the proper motivation and tools. This initiative aims to encourage and engage volunteers to develop "do-it-yourself” fundraising projects, held during a specially selected day (e.g. birthday, anniversary celebration, etc).  It should be simple, affordable and most importantly, it should be customized to suit your schedule and requirements.

Most people are afraid to start new projects, especially when they are expected to lead. We would like to help by providing tool kits, assistance and support to you, so that the entire experience can be rewarding to you:

Create your ST.O.P. fundraising project

• Register your ST.O.P. project
• Find team members to share the responsibility (optional)
• Set a goal, schedule the task and venue
• Enjoy the preparation/progress
• Collect donations
• Committing the donations to Habitat for Humanity Singapore
• Sharing your own story online and celebrating your successes together with others
