Mr. S. Dhanabalan
Habitat for Humanity Singapore is proud to have Mr. S. Dhanabalan (Chairman, Temasek Holdings; ex-Cabinet Minister) as our patron. Mr. Dhanabalan is an active Habitat volunteer, participating in Habitat builds and events regularly through the year. He is a great source of inspiration for many Habitat staff and volunteers.
Our Board of Directors:
Mr Daniel See (Chairman)
Mr Daniel See is a legal counsel with Tellabs. A strong Habitat supporter, he has participated in many Operation Homeworks project, and lends his expertise to Habitat Singapore especially in the area of legal concerns. He has served on the board for many years.
Ms Amy Lee Yuen Ying (Vice-Chairperson)
Ms Amy Lee is the current CEO of law firm Hogans-Lovells Lee & Lee. Her work with Hogans-Lovells Lee & Lee specialises in property and infrastructure projects, as well as government advisory work.
Married with 4 children, Ms Amy Lee has served on the School Management Council of Nanyang Primary School, the Board of Directors of Nanyang Girls High School, as well as a Board of Director of Habitat for Humanity Singapore.
Ms Lee holds the record of being the Singaporean who has participated in the most Habitat for Humanity house builds, going to places like Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Nepal practically every year for a house-build.
Mr Alvin Liew
Mr Alvin Liew is an economist with United Overseas Bank. He has been an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, participating in several house-builds in the region. He appears regularly on television, often being interviewed for his opinion on financial trends.
Ms Diana Chong
Ms Diana Chong is a finance professional and strong Habitat supporter. She lends her expertise in financial management to the board.
Mr Peter Gape
Mr Peter Gape is the Program Director of Habitat for Humanity Asia Pacific. He resides in Bangkok, and help advise Singapore on cross-border projects and serves as a link between Habitat Singapore and the international office.
Ms Tara Huber, PhD
Ms Tara Huber is a Senior Research Scientist at the Genome Institute of Singapore, A*STAR.
She has been involved in Habitat since 2009, when she was part of Singapore Habitat's first Women's build in Batam lead by Eunice Olsen. Since then she has participated in the Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project in Chiangmail, Thailand 2009 and the Singapore-based Operation Homeworks.
Mr Joseph Scaria
Mr Joseph Scaria is the Resource Development Director of Habitat for Humanity Asia Pacific. He resides in Bangkok, and help advise Singapore on fundraising strategies, and coordinate all the fundraising effort across the Asia Pacific region.
Mr Philip Siow
Mr Philip Siow is a business lecturer at a local polytechnic. He has worked as a management consultant and regional management positions in the chemical, health care and publishing industries.
His consultancy clients currently come from the insurance and transport industries. Over the years he has gravitated to teach marketing research and selling-sales related fields.
