Meet urgent needs on the ground
One-time donations allow us to direct funds to support Project HomeWorks, our local volunteering programme. The areas of our work that require the most financial support include:

purchasing basic furniture, cleaning and painting supplies

engaging professional pest control services
-
programme costs associated with running Project HomeWorks sessions, including:

manpower resources required to identify and assess vulnerable homeowners,
-
train volunteer leaders and
-
liaise with social workers to meet the needs on the ground.

We are extremely thankful to partner our supporters who believe deeply enough in our vision to give on a monthly basis. We call this special group our HopeBuilders.
Monthly donations are directed to the same areas of work as one-time donations, while providing consistency in funding. This consistency is how HopeBuilders double their impact for non-government, independent, volunteer-driven charities like Habitat.
Thanks to our HopeBuilders, our work can continue - and even expand - so that safe and decent homes become a reality for more families.

Monthly donors we fondly refer to as HopeBuilders are the true visionaries. They provide the consistent and reliable support we need to make sustainable and long-term commitments to families and help them get back on their feet.
HopeBuilders believe that vulnerable Singaporeans can be empowered to independently build a better life for themselves with the right kind of help.
They also know that their monthly gifts are pooled together and distributed to where it is needed the most. We do everything in our power to ensure homes are fully rehabilitated - even if it means extra rounds of professional fumigation for a heavily pest-infested house or buying extra beds for a big family with children.

One-Time Donations
If you'd like to make a donation by cash, you can visit our office at 56 Lorong 23 Geylang, Century Technology Building, #05-00, Singapore 388381. Our office is open from 9am to 6pm on Mondays to Fridays (except for Public Holidays).
Tax Exemptions for Donations
All donations will go towards Habitat for Humanity Singapore's general local fund and programmes unless otherwise stated by the donor.
As an Institution of Public Character (IPC), all donations made to Habitat Singapore's general local fund and programmes will be eligible for 250% tax deduction. This includes monthly donations, donations made via cheque and on our online fundraising platforms that are not specific to any Global Village campaigns.
Please ensure you've indicated your NRIC/FIN number on your cheque or when you check out on our fundraising platforms to ensure that our Finance team can issue you an automated IPC receipt.
FY 2020 At A Glance
In FY 2020, over 80% of every dollar donated was used to serve those in need of safe and decent shelter.
