Not all the best gifts fit into a box. Give our vulnerable elderly & low-income families the gift of a decent place to call #HomeThisChristmas.
We are thankful for our supporters who have worked alongside us in 2018 to finally give the families & elderly we have served a decent place to celebrate this holiday season. Because nothing beats the simple joy of being at #HomeThisChristmas surrounded by family and friends.
But our work is far from done. On average, we serve about 350 homes in need each year and we're confident we can grow this number to 400 next year with your help. First, we need to raise at least $12,000 so that we can hit the ground running as soon as the new year
We've launched #HomeThisChristmas in conjunction with #GivingWeekSG, a national movement that encourages everyone to give back in any meaningful way that they can.
We hope you'll do something constructive this holiday and donate now to give the gift of a decent place to call #HomeThisChristmas.
To show our appreciation for your support, we will also be mailing out physical copies of our limited edition #HomeThisChristmas card set of 3 designs for donations $50 and above, or emailing you a downloadable version for donations below $50.*
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing to help give everyone a decent place to live this Christmas.
* Donation must be made before 24 Dec 2018.

Organised by National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre
#HomeThisChristmas is Habitat Singapore's annual year-end campaign to support our ongoing programmes on the ground for the following year. With the help of our dedicated supporters, we've managed to raised over $30,000 over the last 2 years since the campaign's launch in 2016.
Thanks to our supporters, Habitat Singapore has served an average of 350 homes a year under Project HomeWorks. We aim to increase this number to 400 homes in 2019 by raising at least $12,000 with this year's #HomeThisChristmas campaign.
Our fundraising campaign page is hosted on Giving.sg and can be found here: https://www.giving.sg/habitat-for-humanity-singapore-ltd/homethischristmas2018
This is the fourth year that the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is spearheading the global Giving Tuesday movement in Singapore with Giving Week from Tue 27 Nov (Giving Tuesday) to Wed 5 Dec 2018 (International Volunteer Day). During Giving Week, NVPC encourages corporates and individuals to give back in ways that they deem meaningful and at any intensity that best suits them. Giving Week is seen as a celebration of the spirit of giving, where brands, non-profits and people give and share their time, talent, treasure and voice to support any cause they are passionate about in all ways - big and small - to build a #CityofGood.
Giving.sg is a safe and secure integrated giving portal. It is hosted and maintained by NVPC, a charity with Institutions of a Public Character status in Singapore. NVPC has borne 100% of the development cost of Giving.sg, which included IT security, audit, and testing, and is committed to ensuring that the portal continues to be trusted by donors and charities alike. Charities receive donations which are electronically paid into their bank accounts, saving manpower costs associated with processing cheques and donation forms, as well as, time spent handling and securing cash.
