Location: East Koshi, Nepal

Date: 5 – 13 Sep 2026

Age requirement: minimum 18 years old

Fitness: Volunteers should be reasonably fit and free from chronic or existing injuries and medical conditions.

 

1)Programme Fee: S$1,235 per person

Programme Fee supports the following:

• Construction materials for the build

• Building tools

• Supporting skilled labour and contractors

• Operational and administrative cost

• Insurance coverage for Habitat build activities

 

2)In-country cost: Approx. SGD – this is to be finalised based on total pax

In-county cost includes:

• Accommodation  (based on twin sharing) while in Nepal

• Local ground transport, airport transfer

• Return domestic airfare from Kathmandu – East Koshi

• Most meals

• Social learning activity

 

Building experience: Not required! Briefing, training and supervision are provided by experienced construction supervisors and Habitat staff at the site. 

Working alongside families: Volunteers will have the opportunity to work alongside the homeowners in constructing their new home.

Construction tasks: Typical construction tasks include hand-mixing cement, carrying and laying bricks, digging trenches for septic tanks, etc.

Flights and Visas: Volunteers are responsible for booking their own flights and securing necessary visas.

Airfare (SG-Nepal): To be arranged with the team
