Habitat fondly refers to our monthly givers as HopeBuilders. They provide the consistent and reliable support we need to make sustainable and long-term commitments to families and help them get back on their feet.
HopeBuilders believe that vulnerable Singaporeans can be empowered to independently build a better life for themselves with the right kind of help.
They also know that their monthly gifts are pooled together and distributed to where it is needed the most. We do everything in our power to ensure homes are fully rehabilitated - even if it means extra rounds of professional fumigation for a heavily pest-infested house or buying extra beds for a big family with children.
Habitat for Humanity Singapore has been approved as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), effective 15 September 2025 to 14 March 2027. All donations above $10 made to our charity will be eligible for tax deductions.

Meet urgent needs on the ground.
Your donations allow us to direct funds to support Project HomeWorks, our local volunteering programme. The areas of our work that require the most financial support include:

purchasing basic furniture, cleaning and painting supplies

engaging professional pest control services

programme costs associated with running Project HomeWorks sessions, including:

manpower resources required to identify and assess vulnerable homeowners,

train volunteer leaders and
-
liaise with social workers to meet the needs on the ground.

Donations are pulled together with other gifts from other donors and funds distributed to where it is most needed.
While we are unable to accept donations of clothing, furniture or secondhand goods at this time, your financial contributions are invaluable. Your generosity will help us purchase essential supplies and furniture, ensuring that the homes we rehabilitate are comfortable, safe, and functional.
